The Red 3 is a unique two-channel Compressor and Limiter which offers both dual independent mono operation and true stereo operation from a single set of controls. The channel inputs and outputs feature top-grade transformers that provide superb DC isolation while maintaining an ultra-wide signal bandwidth and high headroom. Each channel has separate controls for the compression and limiting functions with a VU type meter providing clear visual indication of either signal level or gain change.

The Focusrite Red 3 features include:

  • Fully discrete and balanced classic VCA-based dynamics offer superb low noise and distortion, and excellent common-mode rejection.

  • Stereo switch for true stereo operation from a single set of controls.

  • An easily-read illuminated porthole window VU shows signal level or gain change (switched).

  • Key inputs available independently on each channel via firm-response illuminated push-button switches.

A 50W A/B amp drives the X-ART tweeter, while a leading edge 100W Pulse Width Modulation amp drives the mid/woofer. The front panel includes a power switch and a control for the volume that retains the volume setting independently from the on/off switch. The 'X' stands for 'eXtended frequency response', drastically improving the Accelerating Ribbon Technology. It now extends all the way up to 50kHz. In addition, the X-ART tweeter has a higher efficiency and higher maximum sound pressure levels.

The ADAM A7X features include:

  • Main Feature: Nearfield monitor

  • Construction: 2-Way active

  • Components: 7" Bass, ART tweeter

  • Amplifier output per channel: 50 + 100 watts

  • Frequency Response (+/-3 dB): 42 Hz - 50 kHz

The C414 XLII multi-pattern condenser microphone offers a choice of nine polar patterns for the perfect sonic capture for every application. A peak hold LED displays even the shortest overload peaks. For live-sound applications and permanent installations, all controls can easily be disabled for trouble-free use.

The AKG XLii features include:

  • Audio Frequency bandwidth 20 to 20000 Hz
